Vanilla Moon launches its retail space in Mumbai
Vanilla Moon, a footwear label that brings together Italian aesthetics and Indian craftsmanship launched its latest store at Lining Road, Mumbai, in the heart of the city’s shopping district.
The store showcases a wide collection that combines classic styles and the best footwear trends this season.
The Vanilla Moon store is an elegant space with coloured glass shelves, muted wallpapers and mirrored walls for a subtle yet pretty look.
The launch, which was attended by journalists, stylists and clients, featured complimentary foot rubs as well as great offers and refreshments.
Designer Yoshita Yadav launches her pre-bridal collection
Launched by Bollywood actor Esha Gupta, Yoshita Yadav’s latest celebrates raw Indian silk, woven in Varanasi and Bengaluru. Esha wore a pink trail lehenga embellished with mirrors. “In this collection, one can see a vivid representation of motifs taken from the Bara Imambara, Chhota Imambara and the Rumi Darwaza," described Yoshita. Through her label ‘Yoshita Couture’, Yoshita aims to revive the cultural legacy of Lucknow and the Oudh region. In her latest collection, the designer blends the grandeur of the fabric and the region with an exciting contemporary aesthetic. The motifs in the collection are inspired by the architecture from the richest period of the Oudh history. The collection was showcased at the recently held India Runway Week (IRW).
NIMAI is now collaborating with The FashionEdit, New York
NIMAI, an Indian multi-designer jewellery brand is launching its first shop-in-shop retail point at The FashionEdit in New York.
The collaboration will feature the works of India’s coveted jewellery designs including Suhani Pittie, Eina Ahluwalia, Valliyan, Zariin, Chicory Chai, Absynthe Design Kichu, Dhora, Silvense, and Dang.
