As I headed towards my room, after a cool and refreshing welcome, the courteous staff drove us in a buggy showing us the property and the minute details that any guest would need to know during the stay. As I entered my abode for a couple of days, I was relaxed and all the more excited to experience the in-room wall closed private pool with a traditional Thai sala. The basic amenities were all upto the mark and would make you feel like home away from home. After easing out a bit, one can surely take a long stroll down Mai Khao Beach and enjoy cycling around the resort. The next morning I cycled to the beach, one of the most convenient ways of transit amidst nature. Enjoy the peace and perfection of one of Phuket’s quietest coastlines enhanced by sweet Avani moments. Retreat to your private pool villa at the end of each sun-soaked day.
The buffet spread at the Talad was scrumptious. It had a huge range from English to Thai options. The other in-house restaurant Claws and Co is a warm and cozily decored place with equally amicable staff and mouth-watering sea food. Just in case you are craving some Indian food at the foreign land, you can always choose to dine at Tiffin by LaSala, an authentic Indian restaurant with lovely ambience overlooking a gorgeous lily pond. The most appetizing dish here was the minced chicken and the chef recommended chat platter.
Accentuated with breezy, beachy tones, designed to foster a welcoming, laidback island atmosphere, you should feel at home with signature Avani facilities including a tropical lagoon-style pool with multiple in-house restaurants and bar that serves up delicious cuisine. The outdoor kids’ playground area hosts daily fun and educational activities, while fitness-minded guests will feel right at home at the AvaniFit Gym which includes a climbing wall and yoga sessions.
Good landscaping along with a relaxed location free from any unwanted noises and pollution. Right across the property is turtle village, a shopping mall which helped me with my last minute quick fixes. All famous and must visit tourist spots are in considerable proximity to Avani Mai Khao, which is yet another perk of the property.
