Royal Heritage Haveli, where history, heritage and hospitality converge

Tucked away in the heart of Jaipur Royal Heritage Haveli is more than just a boutique hotel—it’s a soulful retreat where history, heritage and hospitality converge. Originally built in the 18th century by Sawai Madho Singh Ji as a hunting lodge the haveli has been gracefully transformed into a luxurious staycation haven. Walking through its fresco-laden archways and serene courtyards feels like stepping into a royal reverie with every corner whispering tales of the bygone era.

From the moment you arrive the warmth of the royal hospitality envelops you. Managed lovingly by the royal family the haveli offers personalized service that makes you feel like a guest in a royal home rather than a hotel. Every detail—from the welcome rituals to the curated experiences—is handled with care making it perfect not just for a tranquil escape but also for creating unforgettable memories with your loved ones.

The suites are a graceful blend of 18th-century charm and modern luxury. We stayed in a Heritage Superior Suite which featured hand-painted frescoes, antique furniture and soft linens that added to the timeless elegance. The Signature Suites with private terraces are ideal for couples or newlyweds looking for a romantic setting while the newly introduced family suite is great for wedding guests or intimate gatherings. The haveli recently unveiled a beautifully restored wing that also includes a charming banquet hall nestled in natural greenery perfect for hosting intimate weddings.

Weddings at Royal Heritage Haveli feel like something out of a dream. The venue offers a mix of indoor and outdoor spaces—with the banquet hall accommodating up to 100 guests indoors and 150 outdoors. Imagine a haldi ceremony on the sun-drenched lawn a mehendi afternoon in the flower-draped courtyard and a candle-lit sangeet by the pool. The haveli’s ambiance lends itself to small soulful weddings where every ritual feels personal and every moment is steeped in heritage.

Culinary experiences here are an absolute highlight. The food served at the haveli goes beyond typical hotel fare—it’s a tribute to Rajasthan’s culinary legacy. We were lucky to enjoy some of the family’s treasured recipes during our stay like the slow-cooked Narangi Maas and traditional Rajasthani thalis served with a modern twist. Whether it’s a rehearsal dinner at Mehrab a post-wedding brunch at Cibo Bistro or alfresco cocktails at Kigelia Court the food elevates every celebration.

At the heart of this heritage haven is Ms. Shambhavi Singh the dynamic director of the property. A trained baker and passionate host she brings both warmth and vision to the haveli. From curating bespoke wedding experiences to ensuring every guest feels at home her touch is visible in every detail. Whether you’re here for a peaceful staycation or planning your big day Royal Heritage Haveli promises a celebration drenched in elegance, tradition and heartfelt hospitality.
